Chira is Valenth's single moon. The word chira means "little bat" and that is the moon's nickname. It is described as small and black. It plays a significant part in the ancient legends of Valenth. There is speculation whether there is or is not life of some sort existing on its surface.

"The moon and suns were very important aspects of Ancient Anshe life and legend." -Sagarthay Felld

In the legends of the Ancient Anshe, Chira was the consort of the wolf god, Voghn and the mother of the varworgn.
